AT THE GALLERIES

Two shows at Toby's this month are in the must-see category. Kathryn LeMieux's ten year collection of Feral West cartoons from the Point Reyes Light make up the bulk of the show in the New Gallery, but you will also see some of her oil paintings and graphic designs, along with samples from Six Chix, her nationally syndicated comic strip which she draws with five other cartoonists of the female persuasion.

This show reminds us how lucky we are to have such a talent in our midst.

In the Old Gallery are oil and chalk pastels by the Chileno Valley artist Sally Gale. Her realistic, well-composed work, carries the punch of recognition. If you know the Chileno Valley at all you will recognize most of these scenes.

Gallery hours are 9 to 5 daily and 9"30 to 4 on Sundays.
